How profile approval and verification work on NIGHTY
Email confirmation, profile approval and manual verification mean different things on NIGHTY. Confirming an email verifies access to the mailbox. Approval means an administrator has authorised publication of a profile. Manual verification is a separate label; it is not added automatically when an account is registered or a profile is published.
Understanding the three statuses

Why your profile may not appear after you confirm your email
Registering an account and publishing a profile are two separate steps. Email confirmation verifies access to an inbox. Your profile may still be a draft or awaiting an administrator's decision. Log in and check its status in My profile.
Draft means an unfinished, private profile. Awaiting approval means it has not yet been approved for publication. If you leave the private-draft option selected in the editor, saving does not make the profile public.
Preparing a profile for approval
- Log in and open your profile. Check whether your email has been confirmed.
- Complete the required fields and review the name, location, description and photos. They should reflect what you actually want to publish.
- For a personal profile, also check the consent to publication. If consent was supplied in another form, contact support; an administrator assesses how it is recorded.
- When ready, submit the profile for approval using the editor. Check that it has not simply remained a private draft.
- If the form reports a missing field, complete it and save again. Check the status in My profile.
After successful approval and publication, the system sends a notification to the profile owner's email. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder and your account status directly. For other steps, see How NIGHTY works.
What the Verified profile badge means
The badge represents a separate manual designation by a NIGHTY administrator. It is distinct from email confirmation and the decision to publish a profile. An approved public profile may therefore have no badge.
This manual designation does not verify identity or documents. It does not guarantee service quality, current availability or the accuracy of every detail when you visit. Check how up to date the information is, and report inconsistencies to support.
Frequently asked questions about approval
My email is confirmed. Why am I not in the directory?
Check whether your profile is a draft or awaiting approval. Email confirmation alone does not publish it. If the status is unclear, send support a link to the profile and a short description of the problem.
Is a published profile automatically manually verified?
No. Approval for publication and manual verification are separate administrator decisions.
How long does approval take?
Contact support to ask about a particular request. This guide does not promise a fixed approval time; support opening hours are not a processing deadline.
