How to link a personal profile to a business on NIGHTY

A personal profile and a business profile are two separate presentations on NIGHTY. A connection is created through a request and confirmation by the other party. The person keeps their own account and control of their profile. Linking does not replace approval for publication.

Which process should you choose?

• A business wants to add an existing profile: it finds a published personal profile and requests a connection. The profile owner confirms the request in her account.
• The woman does not yet have her own account: the business can invite her to register. She creates her own account and profile, then decides whether to connect.
• The woman wants to contact a business: she finds the business from her account and sends a request. The business administrator confirms the connection.

Business: adding an existing profile

1. Sign in to the account that manages your business.
2. Open connection management and choose Add existing profile. From the business profile, you can also get there through Add existing woman.
3. Enter the name in Profile name and select Search profiles. The search covers published personal profiles.
4. Before selecting Request connection, open the result and verify that you have chosen the right person.
5. Wait for her decision. A sent request is not yet an active connection.

Business: inviting someone to register independently

In connection management, open Register a woman; on the business profile, this is also labelled Invite a woman to register. The form asks for her email and confirmation that she asked you to send the invitation. Then select Send registration invitation.

The recipient receives a link to create her own account. The business does not enter a password for her or take control of her personal profile. After registration, the request appears in her account; she confirms the connection after signing in. If she already has an account, use the existing-profile process instead of registering the same email again.

Personal profile: requesting a connection with a business

1. Sign in to your own account and open connection management.
2. Under Request a connection with a business, search for a published business.
3. Check the business and the personal profile you are requesting from, then select Request connection.
4. Wait for the business to confirm. There is no connection until the other party approves the request.

Confirming, declining and ending a connection

The recipient decides in their signed-in account using Confirm connection or Decline. The sender can withdraw a pending request with Cancel request. An active connection can be ended with End connection.

A profile already connected to another business must first be disconnected. Ending a connection changes the relationship between profiles; it does not delete the personal account. Never share your account password with anyone to arrange a connection.

Connecting is not publishing a profile

Confirming the relationship with a business, consenting to publication of a personal profile and administrator approval are separate steps. A profile may therefore be connected without being public yet. Check your profile's status under My profile.
